Business Advisory Services Manager
Are you an experienced accounting professional with a passion for leadership and client service? Our client, a leading advisory firm, is seeking a BAS Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented Business Advisory Services (BAS) team while delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to clients across various industries.
About the Role:
As a BAS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing complex assignments, and providing technical advice on challenging situations. You will also lead and mentor your team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical accounting advice and perform complex compliance and advisory work.
- Manage client portfolios, acting as the first point of contact and maintaining strong relationships.
- Lead client meetings, provide credible recommendations, and produce high-quality reports.
- Supervise and coach team members to develop expertise and ensure productivity.
- Oversee workflow management, resource planning, and billing processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and additional services for clients.
- Participate in business development activities such as networking, proposal preparation, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years’ manager experience, in a Business Advisory Services (CA) environment.
- CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships internally and externally.
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with industry-relevant software.
- Proven team leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor staff effectively.
