A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a major transformation programme focused on supply chain functions. Based in Tauranga with two days in office a fortnight, this contract role connects business, change, and tech teams to drive operational improvements. You’ll help shape future processes and ensure solutions meet evolving needs. Experience with SAP ERP and strong stakeholder engagement will set you up for success.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Contribute to a well-established transformation programme focused on business process improvement and solution delivery.
  • Work in a collaborative, inclusive environment that values empathy, open communication, and practical delivery.
  • Enjoy flexible working conditions, access to ongoing development, and exposure to global tools and systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and analyse current business processes, highlighting improvement opportunities and recommending solutions that support organisational goals.
  • Elicit, document, and validate detailed business requirements through close stakeholder engagement.
  • Model and visualise business processes using industry-standard techniques to align technical and operational perspectives.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive clarity, surface insights, and ensure consensus across business units.
  • Provide guidance on system use, including SAP ERP, ensuring alignment with both local needs and broader operational best practices.
  • Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support investment decisions and prioritisation.
  • Support knowledge transfer and documentation for seamless transition from project implementation to business-as-usual.
  • Participate in governance forums, including Technical Design Authority, contributing to solution roadmaps and architecture discussions.
  • Assist in business case development and communicate expected outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
  • Keep internal teams and external partners aligned through consistent and open communication.

What You Bring

  • A tertiary qualification in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or similar.
  • Professional certifications such as IIBA, Prince2, PMBOK, SAP, or Microsoft are a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, especially within supply chain or related operational environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems – ideally SAP ERP.
  • Experience designing and facilitating workshops to define and prioritise requirements.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels – from end users to leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and how to apply them in complex delivery environments.
  • Understanding of relational databases and how they support core business systems.
  • Experience with food safety or quality processes is beneficial but not essential.
