Cut Over Manager
You’ll be taking ownership of end-to-end cutover planning and execution across a complex environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, low-risk deployments. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be coordinating 70+ stakeholders, managing dependencies, and keeping everything on track during high-pressure delivery windows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and deliver end-to-end cutover planning and execution across retail store deployments
- Build and manage detailed cutover run sheets, sequencing, and dependencies
- Coordinate across squads, vendors, and stakeholders to align store and customer cutovers
- Lead Go-Live, Pre-Go-Live and Post-Go-Live activities across store environments
- Manage risks, issues, and escalation points during live retail deployments
- Drive clear, structured communication across business, store teams, and technical squads
- Ensure minimal disruption to store operations and customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in cutover management within large IT / transformation programmes
- Experience delivering into operational environments (retail, logistics, or customer-facing platforms)
- Strong background in ERP environments (e.g. SAP or similar)
- Experience across deployments, releases, or migration programmes
- Ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Comfortable coordinating large groups (50–70+ people) without direct authority
- Calm, structured, and able to perform under pressure
Working Pattern
This role offers a dynamic and flexible working rhythm, aligned to key retail deployment windows.
- Involvement in planned overnight cutovers (typically once per week), aligned to retail store go-lives
- Blend of on-site store cutovers and remote customer cutovers
- Time off in lieu following overnight work
- Opportunity to be hands-on in live retail environments, seeing deployments happen in real time
- Initially focused on building relationships on-site with store and programme teams, with flexibility increasing over time
