Robert Walters is celebrating Admin Professional’s Day and would like to take this opportunity to celebrate all secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, PAs, EAs, office managers and other administrative support professionals for the positive impact they have in the New-Zealand workplace.
At Robert Walters, we specifically want to recognise all admin superstars and over the last four weeks nominations have been open for our Admin Superstar of the Year award.

Open to everyone, Robert Walters provided nominators with the opportunity to nominate an outstanding business support team member. In doing so, they gave their nominee the chance to win a weekend trip away.
This year’s awards saw a total of over 100 entries from organisations varying in terms of industry and size across New Zealand and Australia. After much deliberation from our regional judges, nine finalists made the shortlist to become crowned Admin Superstar of the Year 2017.
We are excited to announce that the Robert Walters New-Zealand Admin Superstar of the Year 2017 is Claire J, PA at Lightbox in Auckland.
Hema P, General Manager at Lightbox said Claire’s story conveys an inspirational message for professionals starting out in the Administrative industry.
Claire is the core of the Lightbox team. She consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty. Here are just a couple of examples:
• Recruitment – It is completely outside of Claire's job description. However, with her extensive experience and patience, Claire regularly takes this into her task. In the past 3 years, Claire will have helped to recruit over 100 employees. Claire's primary concern as always is to help making this a seamless process for the recruiting manager and the person they are hiring.
• Culture - Claire is the heart of the organisation. She regularly demonstrates this by ensuring nobody is overlooked or forgotten; that hard workers are always recognised while keeping honest to those who need to pull their socks up (always with a smile and with heart and soul). Again, not something that is her responsibility - Claire just cares.
Along with her Admin Superstar of the Year 2017 title, Claire will also enjoy a NZ$2000 weekend escape for two.
They clearly highlight the vast value that top calibre administrative professionals bring to the overall culture, presentation and results of an organisation.
