Diversity is a core value of our international business. With more than 3,000 employees in 31 countries around the world, we know that our diversity is our strength. In fact, in some countries such as Japan, we have up to 35 nationalities working for us.

    Robert Walters Group appointed Vercida Consulting, leading inclusion management experts, as its global ED&I strategic partner in July 2021.

    We are a proud member of Diversity Works NZ, the national body for workplace diversity and inclusion in New Zealand.

    Robert Walters NZ is proud to partner with Autism NZ; to empower and support autistic people within the recruitment market. 

  • 2020

    Pearn Kandola - an organisation striving to make the modern workplace fair for everyone by promoting Diversity & Inclusion and eradicating prejudice and unfairness - is the Group’s official global diversity and inclusion partner.

    With the help of mental health experts, Robert Walters launched an e-guide to support employee mental health and wellbeing in times of rapid change or crisis, with tailored advice for HR leaders, line managers and remote workers.

    Launch of 'Burning the Candle: Strategies to Combat Workplace Burnout' e-guide explores strategies organisations can use to help battle burnout to ensure employees maintain a healthy relationship with their work.

    Robert Walters Group were official partners of the London Pride March 2019

    Robert Walters Group partner with Movember and challenges staff to ‘Break the Cycle’ and start addressing mental health in the workplace.

    Robert Walters Australia partner with SheCodes to promote women and diversity in technology teams of the future.

    Launch of the bespoke in-house Adify tool, designed to help improve diversity and inclusion in your advert writing.

  • 2017

    The Group becomes official partner of OUTstanding. OUTstanding is a not-for-profit professional network for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) executives and their ally leaders.

  • 2016

    Launch of Empowering Women in the Workplace thought leadership campaign -  a campaign developed to create conversation, connect professionals and provide information and advice to help women achieve career success.

    The Group named in the top 50 Leading Ally Executive Category by OUTstanding and The FT which acknowledges senior executives who are unwavering in their support for LGBT people in the workplace.

    Introduction of Programmatic Advertising: This type of advertising targets candidates based on key  skills and  locations, rather than demographics or  characteristics. 

    On 1 January 2014, the Board implemented a policy to ensure that there will be an equal gender quota for any future long list for a Board appointment.
