What you'll do:

• Develop high-quality solutions that fulfil agreed requirements while ensuring code maintainability and scalability.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, planning sessions, and demos to ensure effective communication within the squad.
• Contribute thoughtfully to enhancing user experience by collaborating closely with designers and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Engage in all activities related to software delivery including development, testing, deployment, and release management within your squad.
• Maintain comprehensive application documentation at all levels to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer within the team.
• Monitor production systems proactively, diagnose issues efficiently, test potential fixes thoroughly, and apply resolutions promptly for assigned applications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within both your squad and the wider domain by sharing insights and best practices.
• Participate in associated guilds and chapters to help elevate community standards and encourage knowledge sharing across teams.
• Support incident management processes by investigating production incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between front-end components and backend services.

What you bring:

• At least five years of practical experience in developing and maintaining technology applications within enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated expertise as a developer delivering complex enterprise applications with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Hands-on experience with Java, REACT, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript for building scalable full stack solutions.
• Proficiency with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress to ensure code quality through automated tests.
• Experience building and deploying code via CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins for streamlined releases.
• Clear communication skills enabling you to articulate ideas and designs effectively within diverse teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying modern web applications securely and efficiently.
• Previous involvement working within Agile/SCRUM/KANBAN methodologies is highly desirable for adapting quickly to changing priorities.
• Experience mentoring junior or intermediate developers by providing guidance on technical challenges or best practices is advantageous.
