Intermediate or Senior Lawyer

About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

Depending on your background, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of public law matters including but not limited to law reform, operational policy, legislation and regulatory matters. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as mentor and support juniors in the team.

Flexible working options will be considered, including full-time and part-time. Our client will consider applicants from Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch.

About you | Mōhou ake

• Intermediate to senior level of post admission experience (4+) with some of your experience acquired in the public sector
• You will either bring law reform and legislative development experience OR more general policy and public law experience with an interest in legislation
• A friendly, professional approach
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice on legal issues
• A current New Zealand practicing certificate or eligibility to obtain one
