Marketing, Communications & Events Specialist

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Marketing, Communications and Events Specialist to join a respected national professional membership organisation. This contract position is for a period of 12 months and will offer the flexibility of working from home on a part-time basis while making a meaningful impact on the organisation’s outreach, engagement, and event delivery.

As a Marketing, Communications and Events Specialist you will be responsible for delivering a range of marketing communications activities. Your day-to-day will involve;

  • Support the development of the annual, and detailed quarterly events, communications and marketing plan and calendar.
  • Write and manage regular communications, manage website and social media channels.
  • Support the planning and delivery of the event programme. Manage online and in-person events including marketing, webinar/registrations, website content, sending emails, promoting events on social media, sending reminder emails to attendees, organising catering and printing name badges where needed. Attend and manage some in-person events, as agreed.
  • Develop templates/collateral and plans to enhance eDMs, presentations, campaigns, social media, website.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to employers, members, lapsed members, associate members and candidates.
  • Support the Stakeholder Outreach, Education and Member Engagement programmes.

Success in this role comes from your ability to balance big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every campaign resonates with its audience while every event runs seamlessly.
