We are currently seeking a Senior Contracts & Compliance Coordinator to join our Wellington team supporting our contingent workforce operations across New Zealand.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wellington, New Zealand.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
Salary range: $72,000 – $75,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.

About the role:

This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration, coordination, review, and compliance management of contractor agreements, onboarding processes, and contractual documentation across multiple business divisions. The successful candidate will support contractor onboarding, contractual compliance, audit processes, and operational contract administration activities to ensure adherence with internal policies, client agreements, and workplace compliance obligations.

Key responsibilities:

-Managing and coordinating contractor onboarding and contractual compliance processes
-Reviewing, validating, preparing, and administering contractor agreements, extensions, amendments, and terminations
-Conducting right to work, visa verification, background screening, and compliance checks
-Monitoring contractor agreements and conducting audits to ensure ongoing compliance and timely contract management
-Maintaining accurate contractor, placement, and compliance records across internal systems
-Liaising with internal stakeholders including Payroll, HR, Finance, and consultants regarding contractor administration processes
-Supporting compliance reporting, operational process improvements, and onboarding governance activities
-Responding to contractor and consultant queries relating to contracts administration and compliance matters
-Coordinating operational contract administration activities across multiple divisions and key client accounts

Minimum requirements:

-Minimum three years of relevant work experience in reviewing documentation, coordinating compliance processes, maintaining accurate records, or administering operational processes within a fast-paced environment.
-Experience maintaining accurate records, documentation, and compliance processes
-Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
-Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
-Proficiency using internal systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications
