Office Manager
We are looking for a highly organised and dependable Office Manager to join a small team in Christchurch. This role is responsible for ensuring an efficient monthly accounts process and the smooth running of the office. There is plenty of variety in this role and you will contribute to an existing positive and team-driven workplace culture. This role provides an excellent opportunity to leverage your existing skillset, and over time grow with the business.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Office Manager brings experience in managing a small office (with no direct reports) and will ensure the accounts payable and accounts receivable and other support functions are efficient and timely.
Your background could be something similar, with experience working with job costings.
Proven experience with payroll systems like Xero and knowledge around New Zealand employment law is nice to have. Your ability to handle sensitive employee and company information with discretion is essential. You have upbeat interpersonal and communication skills to enable you to communicate priorities, take accountability and handle employee enquiries effectively.
Additionally, your experience in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable will be crucial in this role.
- Proven experience in office management or similar roles.
- Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable is crucial. The accounts receivable process is confident knowledge of using Excel is essential.
- Experience with payroll systems like Xero is desirable.
- Ability to handle company information with discretion is essential.
