Dispatch Maintenance

Save job

This is a key role and you will play an integral part. Using common sense to prioritise more urgent maintenance jobs over others, you’ll coordinate reactive maintenance jobs, liaise with contractors and and provide administrative support to the maintenance team.

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while developing or furthering your interest in community housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch Coordination: Monitor and manage maintenance work orders, liaise with contractors and ensure jobs are completed on time.
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional support to tenants and others in your team.
  • Administration: Track job progress, prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Engaging customer service skills with a welcoming and "I've got this" approach.
  • Strong organisational abilities—able to think logically and therefore juggle priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A basic understanding of building/maintenance systems or experience working with trades is an advantage.
  • A passion for social services or housing is highly valued!

Why Join Us?

  • Enjoy a mix of dispatch coordination, customer service and administration—no two days are the same!
  • Be part of an organisation that makes a difference in people’s lives.

If you’re someone who loves helping others, thrives on problem-solving, and wants to be part of a purpose-driven organisation, we’d love to hear from you!
