Contract Full Stack Developer

What you'll do:

• Collaborate closely with the Agile team to analyse business processes, procedures, and user requirements in order to establish comprehensive system requirements that meet organisational goals.
• Take ownership of system and application design by producing detailed documentation and ensuring ongoing maintenance aligns with best practices.
• Develop innovative solutions and clear specifications so that agreed requirements are effectively translated into functional systems that support business objectives.
• Lead testing activities related to software solutions, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and agreed specifications before deployment.
• Create thorough development and support documentation while providing expert advice regarding applications to enable seamless operation of support functions.
• Play a pivotal role in reviewing and redesigning processes or procedures on an ongoing basis to enhance system productivity and efficiency across the organisation.
• Diagnose, test, and resolve production incidents for assigned applications, applying fixes promptly to minimise disruption and maintain service reliability.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Developer with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications within collaborative environments.
• Hands-on expertise with React, Typescript, JavaScript, as well as familiarity with JSON, YAML, and SQL for building modern web applications.
• Comprehensive experience designing and developing MS SQL Server and Postgres databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Proficiency in building and deploying code via CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows and accelerate delivery cycles.
• Practical experience managing and configuring AWS infrastructure for scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Strong background designing and developing Restful APIs using Java Spring Boot for seamless integration between systems.
• Familiarity with API gateways such as Apigee or Kong is considered advantageous for managing secure API traffic.
• Ability to design technical solutions collaboratively while engaging stakeholders effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills enabling you to articulate ideas clearly when discussing designs or presenting solutions.
• Experience using automated test frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress to ensure software quality through reliable testing practices.
