Solicitor/Senior Associate - Property & Construction

We are working with a range of Top Tier law firm on an opportunity in their property & projects team. There are opportunities for both junior and senior lawyers to join the growing team.

You would be working with a variety of clients including SME’s, developers, start-ups, and large Property Developers. This is a critical role to support the growth of a highly regarded commercial property team.

There are ongoing opportunities to develop your commercial, technical and legal skills through breadth of engagements. This role would be working in a team with a culture that is fun, empowering and celebrates success.

Key Responsibilities:

You will handle a variety of tasks related to commercial property work. You will manage buying and selling processes for clients and work on large-scale projects like divestment of car parks and supermarkets. Your ability to offer practical solutions backed by your good commercial acumen will be crucial in this role.

Working on the following transactions:

• Commercial property transactions;
• Commercial property leasing;
• Construction contracts;
• Land development;
• Overseas investment act applications

About you:

The ideal candidate will have 2-7+ years PQE gained in practice in a commercial property, projects or construction team either in NZ or in a common law jurisdiction. They will thrive working in a fast-paced, varied and challenging environment and will come with a growth mindset.
