Senior Solicitor - Property
Work alongside knowledgeable colleagues on high-quality property matters including development work, subdivisions, sales and purchases, leasing, and asset planning for clients ranging from first home buyers to major developers.
What you'll do:
- Property Law Expertise: Manage residential and commercial transactions, oversee leasing agreements, handle subdivisions, and draft trusts and wills related to property assets.
- Client Advisory: Provide tailored advice on banking, finance arrangements, estate planning strategies, and compliance with legislation.
- Business Development: Foster referral relationships, participate in marketing initiatives, and engage in networking events to generate new opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior solicitors by sharing expertise, reviewing work, and supporting professional growth.
- Collaboration & Industry Knowledge: Work across departments on complex matters while staying updated on property law changes and trends.
What you bring:
- A minimum of 3 years' PQE working in property law covering residential sales and purchases as well as commercial transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to advise on banking and finance aspects of property deals.
- Proven track record managing leasing matters for both landlords and tenants.
- Desired but not required - experience handling subdivisions from inception through completion including liaison with regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of drafting trusts and wills related to property assets along with broader estate planning expertise.
