Senior Engagement Advisor
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engagement professional who enjoys working in a varied and fast-paced operational setting across events, stakeholder engagement, communications, and relationship management. You will play a key role in planning and delivering events and engagement activities that connect communities, stakeholders, and project teams while supporting organisational objectives.
Working across a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering events, developing strong stakeholder relationships, and supporting engagement and communications activities. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, community groups, and key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and positive experiences.This role would suit someone who is confident operating in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and enjoys building trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver a range of events, workshops, activations, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the development and implementation of engagement initiatives
- Coordinate event logistics, suppliers, schedules, budgets, and communications
- Prepare stakeholder communications, briefing materials, presentations, and reports
- Collaborate across operational and project teams to support successful delivery outcomes
- Identify opportunities to enhance stakeholder experiences and strengthen engagement outcomes
- Provide advice and support on engagement and communications approaches as required
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- The ability to build credibility and influence across a broad stakeholder group
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
- Experience working within operational environments and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes
Previous experience within property, infrastructure, local government, or related sectors would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
