Assistant Insights Manager

About the Role As an Assistant Insights Manager, you’ll play a critical role in analysing sales, consumer, market, category, and channel data to uncover trends and deliver strategic recommendations. You’ll collaborate closely with sales teams, helping shape decisions around pricing, promotions, and discounting — ultimately driving commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse internal and external data (sales, consumer, market, category, and channel).
  • Translate insights into clear, strategic recommendations.
  • Support commercial decisions through pricing, promotion, and performance insights.
  • Lead small insights-driven projects with measurable business impact.
  • Present insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and engaging way.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in data analysis — ideally in FMCG, retail, finance, or other data-heavy industries.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (non-negotiable).
  • Exposure to Power BI is a plus — training support will be provided.
  • Background in category, channel, or consumer insights preferred.
  • Experience using Nielsen, IRI, or similar tools is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to connect data insights with commercial impact.
