New Zealand Leadership Awards – Terms and Conditions. 2025
1. Robert Walters New Zealand Limited (‘Robert Walters’) is proud to present you with the New Zealand Leadership Awards event, due to take place on Thursday, 04 September 2025.
2. These Terms and Conditions incorporate the matters specified in the Nomination Form, including the Award Category Criteria and Judging for the New Zealand Leadership Awards 2025 (“Awards”).
3. Nominees are not limited to Robert Walters’ clients and any New Zealand business may apply/nominate.
4. Once a nomination is received, the nominee will be contacted by email from Robert Walters to confirm their acceptance of the nomination. Robert Walters may ask the nominee to provide further information and material in support of the nomination if needed. Nominees must be prepared to meet requests for additional information from the judging panel as well.
5. A nominee’s confirmation of their acceptance of the nomination is deemed acceptances of these Terms and Conditions.
6. A nominator (who may also be a nominee) takes full responsibility for the information and material provided to Robert Walters.
7. Upon participating in the Awards by either nominating or accepting nomination, you agree and consent to the handling and use of your information in accordance with further terms and conditions from Creative Force (also known as Awards Force) being the Awards platform used by Robert Walters to facilitate nominations, whose terms you can separately access here and as so far as they are relevant to you as a user of their service, Creative Force Privacy Policy, Creative Force Cookie Policy and Creative Force Terms of Service.
8. Shortlisted nominees are required to undertake a 1-hour online interview with the judging panel (where supporting information/documentation may be requested).

10. Entries open on Monday, 3 March 2025.
11. Entries close on Friday, 02 May 2025.
12. Judging to begin from 04 May – 21 July 2025 by Robert Walters and selected judging panels.
13. No alterations will be permitted to entries after 11:59pm, Friday 02 May 2025. For any alteration requests prior to this cut off, please email nzleadershipawards@robertwalters.co.nz
14. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into without exception.
15. At any time Robert Walters may seek verification of any information or facts about a nominee (whether from the nominee or from a third party) and may request whatever document or evidence it deems necessary to verify matters about a nominee. Nominees consent to third parties being contacted for this purpose.
16. Failure by a nominator or a nominee to fully comply with any Robert Walters directions for information may result in Robert Walters no longer considering the nomination of the nominee.
17. Information contained within entries remain confidential to the judges. All materials and information provided with any nomination will be destroyed 6 months after judging.
18. Robert Walters may in its absolute discretion, ignore and disqualify any entry which is deemed to be offensive, untruthful or inappropriate, or otherwise tampers with the nomination process, or which otherwise does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
19. Submission of nomination constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
20. In any case where there is doubt about the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions of the relevant Award Category, Robert Walters reserve the rights to interpretation of the Terms and Conditions of the relevant Awards Category in such a way to as to best achieve the principles of fairness and consistency.
21. By entering the New Zealand Leadership Awards, you acknowledge and agree that you grant Robert Walters and our related entities, including our sponsors (with the necessary consents in accordance with Privacy Laws) without charge an irrevocable, perpetual license and exclusive right to use, reproduce, publicly display, all Awards results and anything related to the New Zealand Leadership Awards as we see fit and across all our media channels, including but not limited to the purposes of recruitment services and promotional work.
22. By making a nomination, nominators:
a. consent to the collection and use of their personal information in accordance with Robert Walters Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions; and
b. confirm they have obtained the consent of the nominee to be nominated and have informed the nominee about the data that will be shared with Robert Walters about the nominee.
23. Robert Walters may disclose personal information of nominators’ and nominee’s to affiliates, judging panel, contractors, employees, agents or professional advisors for the purpose of conducting and administering the Awards.
24. Nominees or nominators may opt in to receive marketing communications and to be contacted by recruitment consultants on opportunities from Robert Walters and as such, their personal information will be used for these marketing purposes. They may opt-out by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing communications. If opted-in and you are contacted by Robert Walter’s consultants for recruitment opportunities and you wish to withdraw your consent, you can inform the consultant and they will action your request accordingly. Those who do not opt in will only share their information with Robert Walters in accordance with Robert Walters Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, marketing communications may include service offerings relevant to your interests, news and receiving promotions.

26. By making or consenting to a nomination for the Awards, nominators and nominees agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, decisions of Robert Walters, the judging panel and will release and indemnify and hold harmless Robert Walters and its agents, representatives, employees and the judging panel from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions or liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participating in the Awards or acceptance of the Awards or any prize awarded as part of the Awards.
27. Robert Walters reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any stage, for any reason.
