The Climate Change Policy team provides strategic policy advice on climate change issues/system responses in relation to primary industries to meet NZ's climate change targets and transition to a low emissions economy. We advise on the settings of the Emissions Trading Scheme relating to forestry to maximise the benefits of forestry in NZ's policy response to climate change, and support NZ's adaptation strategies to ensure a sustainable primary sector & rural communities.
