Cyber Security Risk and Assurance Manager - Contractor

This leadership role is responsible for driving cyber security risk management, certification and accreditation, assurance activities, and compliance with recognised frameworks including NZISM, ISO 27001 and NIST

The successful candidate will oversee security risk assessments, maintain risk and assurance frameworks, provide reporting to senior stakeholders, and lead a team of security specialists.

To be successful, you will bring proven experience in cyber security governance, risk, compliance, assurance, or audit, along with strong stakeholder engagement and people leadership capability. Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM will be highly regarded.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in strengthening cyber resilience and influencing security outcomes across a large and complex organisation. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance.
