Fleet Administrator and Project Support

We need an organised and proactive Fleet Administrator and Project Support Administrator for a six-month temporary assignment. This is an excellent temporary and part time opportunity for an experienced administrator to help the fleet manager administer the fleet portfolio and handle internal customer queries and manage workflow. You will work 24 hours a week, 4 days x 6 hours a day. This is a temporary role. Immemdiate start.

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management and administration of more than 1,000 fleet assets, including approximately 800 vehicles nationwide.

This position is a blend of fleet administration, customer support also support the fleet manager to shape and deliver two key projects for the team, one of which is in flight already.

You will help manage day-to-day fleet activities, support internal stakeholders, and contribute to key projects designed to improve efficiency through digitisation and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Fleet Manager
  • Manage fleet-related enquiries from internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate and prioritise workflow across multiple requests and activities
  • Assist with reporting and administration within finance and fleet systems
  • Review and improve existing processes and identify opportunities for automation
  • Support the delivery of key fleet projects and initiatives
  • Liaise with frontline employees, managers, leasing providers, and external suppliers

About You

You are an organised administrator who enjoys improving processes and delivering excellent customer service. You can confidently juggle competing priorities and build strong working relationships across all levels of an organisation.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven administration experience in a busy, customer-focused environment
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Exposure to finance systems and reporting
  • Ability to learn existing processes and identify efficiencies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within fleet, asset administration, logistics or a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential

The Opportunity

A temporary role working 24 hours a week, 4 days a week x 6 hours a day in a varied and rewarding role where you will contribute to meaningful operational improvements while supporting a large national fleet.
