When it comes to mastering rugby fundamentals, no one does it better than the All Blacks and Black Ferns.
Robert Walters has teamed up with the All Blacks and Black Ferns to put Aotearoa’s rugby skills to the test. Think you've got what it takes? Show us what you've got for a chance to win exclusive prizes.
How does it work?
Over the next two months, we’ll be releasing a series of exciting videos featuring the All Blacks and Black Ferns showcasing skills that are essential in both classic rugby and New Zealand Rugby's newest non-contact format, T1 Rugby. Every fortnight, a video featuring a new skill will drop, giving you the chance to learn from the best.
This is where you come in! Whether you’re a seasoned player, a group of mates, or just someone who loves a bit of fun, we want to see what you've got.
Watch the video, then film yourself replicating the skill. We want you to add your own creative twist, whether it’s style, flair, or something completely unexpected.
So grab a ball, get outside, and start practicing!
Prizes to be won
Fortnightly winners:
A winner will be chosen after each new "skill video" release.
Prize: A signed rugby ball from the All Blacks and Black Ferns featured in the videos.
Grand Prize winner:
At the end of the competition, one standout entry will be chosen from all submissions.
Prize:
- 2x tickets to the All Blacks vs South Africa game on 6 September 2025, in Auckland.
- An All Blacks & Black Ferns merchandise pack valued at $500 NZD.

How to enter
Entering is easy - we want to see your best T1 Rugby Skills!
Step 1: Film yourself replicating one of the skills demonstrated by the All Blacks or Black Ferns.
Step 2: Add your own creative spin!
Submit your entry using one of these two methods:
- Email Submission: Send your video to T1Challenge@robertwalters.co.nz.
- Social Media: Post your video to Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram (story or post) and tag Robert Walters and use the hashtag #RWSkillsChallenge.
That’s it! Submit your video using either method, and you’re in to win!
