Yule Alexander and Robert Walters will collaborate to take the role brief, ensuring global best practice governance through co-designing a strategy with your board/ executive, assembling a specialist team, and condutcing inital research and data mapping.
Yule Alexander will identify key skills and competencies required by the particular territorial authority. Robert Walters will develop an engagement proposal and strategy. Both will be reviewed and signed off by the council team.
Robert Walters will implement a comprehensive recruitment campaign, including digital advertising, headhunting, and market mapping. This will involve engaging with both local and global talent. Robert Walters will collaborate closely with Yule Alexander to identify passive candidates with the desired skill set, monitoring analytics and providing regular updates on candidate engagement to guide recruitment strategies.
Robert Walters will compile an initial list of up to 50 top candidates who are intrest in the role. Yule Alexander will then review and refine this list to create a longlist of up to 15 candidates for the next stage.
The executive team and Robert Walters will review the longlist, selecting candidates for initial interviews conducted by Robert Walters. These interviews will help refine and assess each candidate's capabilities. Following these interviews, Robert Walters will collaborate with local government/executives to select canddiates for the next stage, providing constructive feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
Final candidates will participate in two interview rounds facilitated by Robert Walters. Support will be provided in managing the offer process and vetting, including negotiating final offer terms, conducting compliance and reference checks, and performing psychometric testing.
Robert Walters will manage ongoing communication with the successful candidate and the client to ensure a smooth transition.
