About the roles
Police is working towards prevention through partnerships, including with iwi and communities, other government agencies and business partners. A key focus is to deliver the police services New Zealanders expect and deserve.
To support these ambitions, we are seeking applications for project delivery roles within the Transformation and Change team.
The Transformation and Change team is responsible for the delivery of business-led change and transformative programmes of work at New Zealand Police, based at Police National Headquarters in Molesworth Street, Thorndon. The team includes experienced and passionate Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Business Analysts, Service Designers and Change Managers who partner across Police to deliver on behalf of our frontline and the communities they serve.
At Police, no two days are the same. Whether you’re helping bring about meaningful change to the way our frontline staff interact with the community, or you’re identifying opportunities to keep the Police whānau safe, every day at Police brings the opportunity to make a difference and to contribute to projects that have real impact.
What you’ll bring
Being part of the Police whānau is about being our best to ensure our communities are safe and feel safe. Our Core Competencies provide a shared understanding of the behaviours, leadership and technical competence required for success at each level of Police. While we are looking for skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role, we also place a high degree of importance on your state of mind, the alignment of your values with ours, your ability to contribute to and build high-performing teams, and the way that you conduct yourself and lead others.
Working Flexibly
Your wellbeing inside and outside of work is important to us. We’re open to discussing flexible working options that work for both you and the organisation.
